E-File

Our firm has been electronically filing individual tax returns for several years. We have found that returns are accepted more quickly by the taxing agencies, and that our clients receive their refunds much more quickly. If a client wishes to receive a refund by direct deposit, it is necessary to let the office know before the return is filed. We will need account information for the account into which the deposit should be made.

As returns are completed, clients are contacted and asked to come in to review their returns and sign the forms authorizing the company to file them electronically. This can be done at the front desk in a matter of minutes any time the office is open. When returns are accepted, the office will print forms and mail copies to the client noting that the returns have been accepted. The IRS estimated day of refund deposit, if client is receiving a refund and has opted for direct deposit, will be printed on the Federal form.

We have found that electronically filing individual tax returns is preferable to mailing them, and we file electronically in almost all instances. There is no extra charge for the service.
